Yep, in the latest issue he is gunned down by a sniper whilst leaving a courthouse. But I'm sure the authors will find someway of resurrecting him.

Hey Mac, Captain America is a comic book hero which began waaaaay back in the forties. In fact he was created as a moral boost against the nazis.
