4.07 = $30US
4.07 = $30US
Nice. I can do $30. That's right at my breaking point, despite the $55 I put into my useless 4.05m version.

You guys think it'll stay $30 or do I have to pre-order? Minimum shipping+tax is $10

Take the real McCoy...
...and skip the DL.
What with bandwidth, electrical interference, anti-viral progs, and aliens both real and imagined there's no telling what files might get corrupted. You're much better off with a hard copy.
Even if it costs more.
Some of us have well over $300.00 US invested in this gem already (including the '46 Edition) so don't let a little extra cost put you off.
It's worth it.

...and wear your feckin' mask!!!!!

Woa. What a headache--
I couldn't get the download to work with boonty. I would download for a half hour, the temp files would get big, and then they'd just disappear!
In an effort to switch boonty from german to english to help troubleshoot, I was digging through the registry (search for boonty) and I found a "downloads" key, with a "download location" key that had a url. I was able to download from that URL by pasting in my browser, and then install the 1946 update from that file. Of course this pissed boonty off proper, and it wouldn't let me enter my keycode without me telling it where I downloaded from (and I couldn't satisfy this question!).
So I grabbed the no-dvd crack and everything seems to work now. I hate ubi and boonty for being so lame. I paid a sh*t-ton of money to them and this is how their software works!?
Anyway, I downloaded the switcher, and can now switch between 4.04, 4.05, and 4.07. Does anyone know where to get the 4.071 patch? I'm really confused on this front. In the tech sticky, it says the switcher comes with 4.071, but I don't see any sign of it! When I switch to 4.07 and launch il2, it says 4.07, not 4.071.
What IS 4.071? Is it MORE munnies?

I highly recommend getting the 1946 dvd instead of trying to boonty that crap. What a pile of crap. Crap.
See you in the skies soon I hope!
