Flyboys WWl demo
Just ran this for a quick taster
Well OK for a demo , but couldnt find any Track IR support and still a bit of a muddle over keys. Downside is that online play is by monthly subscription.

I quite like First Eagles. Like the feel of the big sky. Got that, dare I say, EAW feely to it. Which I miss. Not as pretty as IL-2, give you that. Some of the game-play is a bit dodgy for me too. Then again most things seem a bit dodgy for me. What. But you know, now that I think about it, I've flown very little else since I got the thing actually. Noter and I took a swipe at getting it on-line to no avail. That would be interesting. And last Friday was the first IL-2 I'd flown in weeks, So there. I suppose that's some type of endorsement.
Toodles.
Toodles.

I think First Eagles is OK. but Im not too sure about the flight models, they just seem a bit too easy after OFF. It would have been nice to have proper engine management too. the sound set is dodgy to me, especially the sound effects when you are shot up
Some of the graphics are good, I like the aircraft models in particular and also the layered clouds which we don't get with IL2. One thing is for sure, it is a lightweight in terms of required computing power compared to IL2, full max settings no probs and very quick load up times too.
I haven't been able to find a multiplayer game for it either McB.
I love WWI stuff so Im glad to have it but by the look of it I still think Knights of the Sky will blow this one away.

Candy is dandy but liquor is quicker...

Does mouse-look work in this game? If so, my program may pick up the same shared memory location as trackIR fills and then convert it to mouse motion for you. I've been curious about this but I don't have trackIR to try it with. cam2pan seems to move trackIR games around, so I think they might be writing to the same block of memory.:FI:Sneaky_Russian wrote:Cant find any downloads for the demo, got this off the cover disc for PC Pilot along with FSX demo.
I'd like this better if Track IR would work with it.
Wondering how it compares to the OFF mod for CFS3
