Covering all the Bases

Post by :FI:Heloego » Fri Dec 15, 2006 4:25 pm

Here's wishing everyone the following:

...A Healthy and Happy Hannukah! (Starts at Sundown, today :) ),

...A Healthy and Happy Christmas! (Duh! ),

...A Healthy and Happy Boxing Day/Kwanzaa! ( Dec. 26. I can't help it if they start the same day :p ),

and last, but most certainly not the least (drum roll, please?):

...A Healthy, Happy, and Explosives-Free (Eid) al Adha!!!!! :D (whatever the hell that is. :?)
...and wear your feckin' mask!!!!! :x

What about St. Stephen's Day?????

Post by :FI:Fenian » Fri Dec 15, 2006 8:22 pm

Ya gots to paint your face with shoe polish, don a straw mask and your guitar and run around the neigbourhood singing songs on people's doorsteps for beer or food.

But only after you capture a small bird known as a Wren, that hides in the bushes...

You think I jest?

This is a holy Irish tradition!!!!

What about Festivus...for the rest of us. Get the pole ready and the feats of strength. Plus I've made my donation to the "Human" fund this year too. ;)

As well as a 'holy' Irish tradition, it's a 'wholly' one as well. How one produced the corpses for 'Wren Day' nobody ever questioned. Little bastards sould be extinct by now for all I know. Of course, were I given the choice, there are a few other things on my list of "Acceptable Extincions" before we even get near Wrens. What? Oh I'm sorry, thought you all knew...the Wrens had to be dead. Must dash.
