Fearless Squadron!
I trust that everyone who's ordered the game in the UK has seen that the release date has been delayed till 18/12/06?...
Well I'm not willing to accept it, so I'm going to lobby my MP, stage a banner protest outside Westminster and refuse to play PF for at least an hour - NO two! This is not on!! Grrrrrrr!
I now also expect the date to slip again. Why, because if you can't hit your advertised date, then the date you offer as a substitute is usually too optimistic for the delaying issue at hand. Yes, I work in IT....
I must now walk the Curs-ed Earth till Play.com can deliver my beloved.

Which means even if they get to the distributors on time they'll get snarled up in the Cristmess post and we probably wont see anything till January.
Pessimist? me? . . just being realistic
At least I got a refund from PayPal for the video card that never arrived, so it's not all bad news.

Thank goodness you didn't run amok in Trafalgar Square in your birthday suit. I hear those pidgeons dive-bomb you mercilessly.

Alas, most of the pigeons were scared away by a falcon that was 'employed' by the local council for the handsome sum of £200K (apparently) (I think he bought a nice nest in the country with it).
.... but yes I stripped off to my Teddy Ruxbin boxers, jumped in the fountain and shouted with all my might - "WE WANT 46 NOW- DON'T THEY REALIZE THAT THERE'S A VIRTUAL WAR GOING ON!!" A policeman then asked me to get out, get dressed or I'd be arrested.... still I'm sure that the remaining pigeons heard me.
They just don't understand do they?.... (people, not the pigeons.)

That 'Falcon" didn't have a ponytail did it?

These days I don't hear about any Brit Streakers anymore. What is this world coming to?

Don't fret too much about the add-on. Think about BoB. In fact if you wanna be my partner in crime I'm planning to rob the Queen as soon as she eats dem cucumber sandwiches. I need the cash to buy a new rig to play the sim!

Falcon, that's pretty cool. Is that yours? That would kick butt as nose art or a sig!

Yeah, it's one of my five-minute specials.
I don't have the time, patience, attention span or talent to elaborate or commit further to a better drawing.
Oh, the pidgie isn't dead ...
it's just pining for the ...
well, you know.
Thx,
Falcon

Interesting point! What do you reckon the required spec will be for BoB to run?
I'm afraid I must decline on the 'robbing the palace caper'. The Queen is still far too foxy & fantastic and I believe that it's a treasonable offence!!

You may get the firing squad Badge, but as a former colony we get a medal for it.

Anyway not too sure about the BoB specs but judging from the high detailed graphics I assume an upgrade of some sort is needed. My future rig will carry at least 4 Gigs of DDR RAM and a 500 Gig HD, a dual core processor and of course a brand new GC.

Hmmm, that's what I'm expecting. My current build is 4 months old but I think I'll need a new GC. It's a 256 nVidia 7900 GS and can hold it's own at the moment, but I prefer to be mid way between minimum reqs and high spec as possible, just to get that element of visual gorgeousness. It's something I am putting off though as feedback from the UBI forums is that people are having issues with upgrading to higher spec cards. It'll probably sort itself out (new drivers etc.), but I'll probably just n00b it and ask the PC manufacturer to recommend a card and pay through the nose....

Yeah, judging from the Splinter Cell Double Agent game I got (and which the wife insist I emasculate myself for the next 20 years) the next GC must support those new shaders. My ATI X800 Pro card can't support atm. And when the price of RAM goes up nearly everything else does.
