Enjoy the views, I sure did. I've seen most of that route from about 9' AGL at speeds ranging from 20 to 90mph.. (depended on whether I was dragging arse up a mountain or hauling arse down one. Trucks are like that.

I've ferried lots of Pipers back to New Orleans for sale at the dealership there.
I always had to do the southern route,
cheaper in avgas
cheap boss ...
Lake Tahoe - Grand Canyon - Santa Fe - El Paso was the farthest north I got
but what a sight!
One of the TraumaHawks I flew couldn't even do 90 mph!

A good friend of mine bought a Rearwin Sportster in or near San Francisco. The SORRY dawg didin't bother calling me to tell me what he'd done or that he was planning to fly it back to TX!!
I missed a heck of a trip.
