I ATTENDED...
as it was an excuse to remind me of another birthday- 2 1/2 hour drive from NYC. As you can tell from the pics the ceiling was too low for most of the birds to take off..(ironically, they put the B-24 up in a series of low runs/turns) I was at once amazed at the amount of "Historic clubs" that pervade this particular airshow; there's even an 80 member group of germerman-speaking yanks called, "Grossdeutchesland"...not to mention Black watch, 82nd, et. al. next year I'll bring my Rosie the Riveter outfit...cheerz, Mike!

I´d wish I could had been there ... especially the half track and the MGs looked quite interesting ... BTW, who are these blokes calling themselves "Grossdeutschland"? Some kind of historical re-enactors group?

Rainy day blues
Glad you got to attend. The rain kept me at home that weekend. Nice pics though. Reinactors, those guys take this stuff seriously.
Maybe next year,
Mike

Actually, Mike,
The whole squad attended. You were unaware that Helo played the Deutchakordian?
