Sound Problems W/ 4.05?

Since installing Pe2 I've noticed that if I open the canopy ingame the sound is dampened, almost inauldible.
Has anyone else had anything like this happen?
Is there any way to restore the sound to that of a previous version?

...because the slipstream roar is so loud the pilot has to wear ear plugs to prevent hearing loss. <runs> :lol:












Seriously, never heard of that one. Though I've noticed a pronounced static since the upgrade to 4.05m.


Usually a re-install solves the problem, if it's bad enough to warrant it.

Perhaps re-install your sound card drivers.
...and wear your feckin' mask!!!!! :x

I worked it out. I seems the patch reset my sound settings. I had to go in and turn off occlusions and sound acceleration.
