WARNING VERY NASTY VIRUS

Post by :FI:Sneaky_Russian » Thu Jun 01, 2006 12:03 am

Just been attacked by Win32/Virut.A

AVG picked it up , but too late.
Glad to see that it could not get at my SATA drive, since thats not enabled while browsing.Graphics sound and video files seem at this stage to be clear, so theres a lot of work I can backup and save.

Now the bad news-- EVERY single .exe gets infected rendering all but the basic Windows inoperable, so it looks like a re-Format is the only thing to do.

Guess the only plane I'll be using this week is my Stanley
