yeah, nicked this info at another site.

http://www.simhq.com/simhq3/sims/boards ... 4;t=004048" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

wow, i knew that the Germans were masters at using captured equipment, and i knew that they used captured T-34s, but this is the first real pic i've seen of such a captured vehicle. that sucker is in fine condition....even the German markings. and according to the report, all systems working and even the engine was fired up with only minimum work!

cool as hell!

:shock: Had me worried there for a few till I clicked the link.

I was wondering HOW IN THE HELL the Germans managed to get a T-34 Beechcraft "Mentor" and drive it in a lake.... :lol:

Neat find! :D

60 Years, bottom of a lake, and judging from the fricking pictures, the thing was in neutral and the tracks turned :shock:

Reminds me of when the Canadian War Museum asked for a T-34. "You want tank? We give tank! How many? Five? Ten?"

Check out Vimy House if you ever are in Ottawa. the Air museum has a VolksJager, a 262, and a Komet. Even a Sherman "Firefly" The Churchill bridging tank is collosal.
"Give me a full bottle in front of me, instead of a full frontal lobotomy!"
