Hello
Just filled in the 'ol application and was directed here to make an introduction. Here's a wee bit about myself:
-Scottish, but live in gran canaria (spanish island 100km from the moroccan coast).
-35 years old.
-Been flying FB/PF four hours per week for three years. Slightly below-average player I'm afraid; I'm not going to do your stats a lot of good anyway. I hate the new flight model, because I can't hit a damn airbus, and keep doing that spinny-kind-of-fally-thing whenever I try to turn.
-Online aquaintance of Mikester and I know Gadje a wee bit too (usually I see him in the mirror just before there is a large bang and lots of fire).
-Been active in 9th AWACS for two years, but no-one in 9th plays FB now.
-Want to get back into flying online wars and doing more constructive stuff than just being shot down alot in DF servers. I miss the crack of flying missions with lots of players on TS; that's FB at its best.
Pleased to meet you all.
Hopefully see you on HL and in TS soon.

Welcome to the boards, Freeze!
I think I can remember flying with you and Mikester ... and you didn´t fly that bad!
Anyhow, just hang here around and look out of what we are made of and decide yourself if you fit into the squad. Meet us online via Hyperlobby and check out how we fly and how we can give you any kind of support. If everything seems to suit you just send Fenian, Falcon, Heloeg... erm ... us all a pint or two and you should be in ...
Olé, Freeze!

Nunc est bibendum - Let's start to drink!

Hey Antifreeze, glad you would like to join us. Just to let the guys know I first started flying with antifreeze in the 9th squad about 1 year ago, he showed me the ropes and gave me guidance. Very nice guy, and is not as bad as he says!! The very opp actualy. He just hasn't flown for 8months so it would be the same for anyone. You will get back into it freeze no probs. It will be great to have you in the squad and cant wait to do some online wars with you. If i remember correctly you are good at the online wars, co-ops etc.
See you soon antifreeze
Mikester
P.s The scots are gonna take over the world!!

Cheers for the welcome so far.
Out of interest (yawn), my nick is Antifreeze because its about the only thing that was accepted by the UBI forum when I first got the game and tried to create an account there. I tried many much cooler nicks, but that is the first one that was accepted.
Coincidently, I read that if the Axis forces had more antifreeze when they pushed on Moscow, they may have been able to take it. Also, emigrating from Scotland to GC was a kind of 'anti-freezing' move to make. Anyway, I lack the imagination to think of anything better. In 9th they'd abbreviate it to 'anti' when on comms, which you're welcome to do.
As for drinking over here... red wine, of course. Granted, the cheap stuff (£1.75) that I buy does tend to taste like antifreeze, but it does the job.
See you in HL.
