Ram upgrade

Post by Madmike » Tue Sep 06, 2005 9:46 am

Hi Guys ,

Well after what seemed like ages I finally got up to 1GB RAM.Had min 512 MB b4.
Then I think lets see what difference it makes to this slight sim.Now I know NOTHING about these tecnnical things. But MAN its like really flying!!! now I have to get used to this much improved preformance of the joystick etc. It responds much more suddenly and precise than it did before.
Is this normal ?
Do i have to re calibrate my settings ?
I am running an ATI Radeon 9550 graphics card also .
I wouldnt have thought the increase in RAM would change the game for me so dramactically ?
Sorry but I am back to square one and trying
Hope to catch u all up soon when time zones/time off work permits .
Even the planes seem to have more detail or am I just imagining it ?

Cheers
Mike

8) Well it does a big thing the extra 512, eh?

Most thing´s in most games tend to get alot better imho.

The game load´s faster, look´s better and honestly makes me fly better...

So i think you are right...as for your stick...this is were you need to go...
