strange textures

Post by :FI:Mefisto » Fri Aug 12, 2005 10:19 pm

I have odd problems with textures on particular maps in CoDs

Image

blinking, flickering, stuff in place it should not be etc.

I run it on ATI Radeon 8500, AMD Sempron 1,58, 512 MB DDR RAM, XP HE

It goes this way even when I am sober

What about lowering down your graphic settings in the game? I´m thinking here more of the textures quality and so on ... do you use any AA/AF on your graphic card?

Nosy me! ;)

:-s hmmm... maybe my graphic card did :) :^o

Polish acid is too pure to give bad flashback
don't buy it from discounts bins, they put fakes there :-s

consider moving to Poland to be closer to supply lines of "your favour mistakes" like acids and "greased by Tatanka grass vodka"

btw I wonder if customs would allow sending the bison grass to US, but I am sure you could buy it also there as it grows also in North America - Hierohloe odorata english names Vanilla grass and Sweet grass and put into vodka for a month or so if you like taste of it that much in the morning ;)

ATI Radeon 8500 64MB Blinking/Dropping Textures: Users playing Call of Duty on an ATI Radeon 8500 64MB video card, with settings on low detail, may see distant textures dropping out in the Stalingrad level. They also may see certain textures "blink" out when they shoot at them (such as train wheels). These errors are specific to the Radeon? 8500 64MB card.

but at higher details it seems to be same... ](*,)
blinking or not... "I'll bite your legs off!" I mean shoot off

I played CoD on this card and i can't remember if it had this problem......there must be this little something that will fix it..........

Or try different drivers. Sometimes newer drivers aren't actually good for your current card.

ie:
I have a GeForce 4 4200 ti and I use ver. 71.2xsomething (77.xxsomething is the current and my card no longer works with it)

They have to have vodka there or clean sprit (ethanol) at least :) for some purposes like cleaning some surfaces, antifreeze in planes etc, one blade of bison grass into the bottle for some time and voila!

I will, but i had this problem previously with some maps in cod uo, it is probably ATI related problem with also other cards,

thanks for advices
