Sorry Dutch,

I can't do the FPS thing. Opens some doors to the past that I'd rather leave closed.

In FB, I can separate things and shoot at a "thing" so it doesn't bother me like the FPS thingies do.

A while back, a friend talked me into trying Medal of Honor. I got it installed and tweaked, ran it a few missions and uninstalled it...

The only other game I play is also a sim and it the OLD Dynamix STARSIEGE game. I keep a server up for that game 24/7 and the wife and I get on there and kick a few butts every now and then..

I have managed to get her flying IL2 Sturmovic. Her comp won't run FB very well. Not enough of that VERY pricey PC800 ram. I'm gathering stuff to build her a faster machine as we speak.

SS is dead for all practical purposes.

There is a new version in the making that is supposed to out early next year.

It is a "sim" game and the vehicles are mostly walking types with various weps and combinations. There are some tank type vehicles as well. There are human type vehicles and alien ( cybrid ) type stuff. Like planes they all have strengths and weaknesses to capitalize upon or exploit.

As for the old DYNAMIX version, there are maybe 15 servers left. The most people I've seen online in ALL of the servers in the last year is in the low 20's.

I keep a server up that is known as an OVER RUN server. You can't win but it's fun trying. The AI keep attacking in waves until all the defenders are toast.
