how to get started?

Ok, the game has been installed.... now what? i downloaded those mapfiles from dutchman´s site... they are to be extracted in CoD´s main folder, right?

What about that weapons-mod, i received through e-mail? Are there any other files, to download?

What is the correct way to write my online name? :FIP:Sapper_FIN?? and what about that name colouring-thingy? i opened that link i found from this forum, but i dont speak german so well

"aghtung, ein spitfire!", "zum teufel" and "ich habe Sauerkraut im meine lederhosen" are all the german sentences i know

Sniper-Fin,

That killcam is indeed a feature that tells 'the-one-that-is-wacked' where
the killer shot from, i think this is a feature that's brings some more excitment to the game. but on the other hand it shows the killer's hiding place.
I think personally this also keeps everybody on the move and avoids a little that people do camp. wich is more anoying in my opinon

so that's why i choose for this option but but we are a bunch of democratic mud-chewing-dogs-of -war so do we can vote on this one.

That´s true.... i either shoot them in the head, or blast them away with tank´s cannon.... very quick and painless way to go

Ok guys, some help required for online stuff. I've got CoD and UO installed. What else is required ?

You need to get new patches for plain CoD and UO. You can find those patches from here: http://action-central.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I believe that patch for that basic CoD is 1.5 and UO´s patch is 1.51.
