Re: Your FI name, why?
Interesting topic Ardmore, glad you started it - I'm curious about the rest of yours too! Mine? Well, it's the result of being blessed with absolutely zero imagination when it comes to nicknames/usernames, AND occasionally poor memory. When I chose it, I was very new to the online gaming community, ...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Thanks Nephris. I re-checked a mission recording and was able to see some of these "productive industry" areas in most of the cities you mentioned. I'll show this to our boys. One note though. I could not see ANY statics hidden in buildings in Mozhaysk, and I remember that when your side c...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Finally back after a nice long weekend. :D Nephris, thanks for the good information on supply/ spawn rate/ movement rate / etc. It's helpful to have a little more understanding of this. I can pass a list of what statics are oil trucks or transporters when i am back home. This seems fairly obvious......

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Well done! Now things look pretty excellent to me. If you & Nephris figure out the bridge destruction thing, nothing will remain of this type issue except the VERY rare "Unknown Destroyed" in the ground kills section and equally rare "Unknown Object" under the AI air kills se...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Another nice improvement! Funcionality is great. However something's still fouled up in terms of identifying ground targets destroyed. Not all the time, but some of the time for sure. Best example: look at results of first mission we flew on 5/12, when you and I spent a fair amount of time destroyin...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Eamonn, another ditto on the stats site - looking terrific! Thanks for all the great work brother. I like the simplicity also... not that I'd mind if more was added or anything. Just like that everything is straightforward & easy to follow (and in English  ). I'm also OK with the style Neph...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
We'll take a look at the recordings, and also try to use your file to study the problem. Thanks for the tip!

Re: Invitation from JG26 Operation Cerberus HSFX/SEOW Campai
Belated greetings, Badger, and welcome to our boards! Very sorry we failed to respond sooner. That's not at all typical 'round here at all... just part oversight and part uncertainty, as we figured out after some discussion on TS earlier today. Anyway, several of the boys are definitely interested i...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Yes, another fun session for us too, Nephris - thank you as always. Hope you enjoy your time in the south. Have fun in the sun and with your relations. One more FYI before we forget about it. We experienced several lost planes today because of spawning on top of static aircraft. Don't know all the d...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Thanks for the updates Nephris! Yeah, it was some tough fighting again, but enjoyable. I don't have the lag problems, but suspect the paratroopers may be part of it. I have noticed they drop HUNDREDS of those guys!! (Who then all die as their chutes collapse in mid air. Looks kinda funny, in a macab...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Nephris, I was only trying to say that I think he's got a key mapped that's causing his smoke to toggle on/off and is not aware of it. Can't imagine why anyone would turn it on & off hundreds of times all throughout a mission if not for this reason. Just wanted to pass this along & let him k...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Oh, Nephris, you may have already noticed, but apparently Zwerg really likes wingtip smoke! In case you haven't seen it yet, most of the mission log files look like this: [19:26:40] BC_Zwerg:Bf-109E-7 turned wingtip smokes on at 118849.305 38004.33 210 [19:26:40] BC_Zwerg:Bf-109E-7 turned wingtip sm...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Yes, had hoped for more even sides; hope you can fill your ranks this next session, Nephris. You guys held your own pretty well in air losses, though, in spite of being outnumbered - well done.
Is Blue side transferring squads manually, or do you just let DCG do it for you automatically?

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Hope you had a nice time on holiday, Nephris! I need one 'o those!! Everything sounds good for Sunday - thanks again for your continued excellent work. Will try to join that server shortly. - Edit - Just looked again.... guess I missed the time window to try & join... too early for this s...

Re: JG42 Moscow Campaign FI Skins (Summer)
Yep, he does. Neil & I have each logged a sortie in one too, I know. I plan on more if we start threatening to win. But I'm fine with just using the default skin. Those were all improved greatly in 4.10 or 4.11 anyway, if I recall. These campaign skins all look great by the way, Frank. We're jus...
