Re: Il2 - Painless patching
I'm assuming the "not a valid 32 bit application" error comes when running the activator rather than the il2FB.exe Still shooting in the dark Can you confirm the file type extension for this? also double check file size, date and release version if possible. If they check out OK it may be ...

Re: Il2 - Painless patching
I've been using SAS Modact with no real problems, but Dan hasn't been able to get it working at all- he gets a "not a valid 32 bit application" error whenever he tries running Modact. Any thoughts, Sneaky? Never used it , so no ideas on how modact works . It should run from a folder in C:...

Re: scfrewed up IL2 installation
Eamonn, are you able to do a system restoration like in Win7? Or is it the same Mike has just suggested? It's no big idea but it might work though ... Gen :) System Restore won't affect Data, just drivers and reg entries. Only a disc image or HD backup from earlier time would help. So many in a pic...

Il2 - Painless patching
I'd recommend all to install new patches for Il2 and HSFX in jsgmemods folder. For 4.12/4.11 folders I've added the config.ini after running the version so that game starts with the chosen screen resolution and aspect ratio. http://i44.photobucket.com/albums/f18/Don_X/il2patches_zps53d0b2b2.jpg I've...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
It's a great map, but in more than one way.
Only problem with Bessarabia is that it's a pretty massive map 340x290km or 98,600 sq Km.
Finding some action may be a problem, especially with such a wide front.

Historically , Hitler surely got fed up with it and turned his attentions to Stalingrad.Nephris wrote:

Re: H2Ownership?
its a tough one. Guy applied for a permit to build ponds to catch rainwater. Permit removed so ponds need to be removed. I can see his point of view but also the states. What happened if someone owned the landed feeding the Colorado river and decided to catch all the snow/rain runoff from the rocki...

Additionally I blame those stupid statistics for making me a close-fisted kill gatherer ... :x :o Cheers! GZ Well...
