Re: Bessarabia - Development
Greetings Gentlemen! I'm happy to read some centuries of royal sovereignty instilled a healthy love for nobility and my personal excellence! :D  But I am much more happy some pilots realized that the motherland still needs dedicated pilots! The rest will probably re-think their point of view on...

Re: Bessarabia - Development
I can understand the malcontent about not reaching any compromise here. :( Yet this Doesn't change the fact however Nephris has given blue a better tank destroyer in the G-1 than any IL-2 with or without cassettes and gives no justification for why this tank killer is then OK but your opponents less...

Re: Bessarabia - Development
What Nephris says with 3 lines I'll try once more to translate... :o I think this is a sound compromise, even without knowing the full capabilities of the 37mm. This was obviously more than over-hasty... :? I won't tell any stories here. Please just create a mission in FMB. Place a Blue truck column...

Re: Bessarabia - Development
I'm glad you guys are entertained! :p And I am especially glad someone who actually flew this campaign does not feel like being used as cannon fodder as Mr. W. Hound is suggesting. Well...after you shot me down all this times I would not believe any cries from you anyway, Gadje. About Blue flying Re...

Re: Bessarabia - Development
Its historical up to 1943 if you fly blue, its fairness after I do not understand. Probably I my English is lacking. Can you elaborate, please? its great fun knocking down Yak7b's, rata's etc Sure! It is great fun knocking down all kind of planes! But tell me, did you even bother to look ...

Re: Bessarabia - Development
I think most things have been said, but I'll try explain Blue's point a little more... :o This is not about 'taking Red's favorite toy'. But it sure is about balancing. Now why is this? I'll try to explain... First I agree they are an effective weapon against tank columns but in general most people ...

Re: Bessarabia - Development
I seriously doubt folk would keep turning up to fly bombers that fast cannon fighters can take out in that same one pass, every time. You are aware that this has happened to Ju-88 throughout the Moscow Campaign? They were attacked by Il-2 and downed in seconds. The same happened to Ju-87 and Hs-129...

Re: Bessarabia - Development
- Which brings me nicely to my last point. Loadout. Will Axis planes have the MK 108 30mm cannon loadout option in Bessarabia?. If not the B24 Liberator might be too strong, if yes the rest of reds bombers will soon be confetti! I have a feeling this is more important than the planes themselves act...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Greetings, comrades! Great fight yesterday - I enjoyed it very much! I was especially happy that not only 'ROTER OKTOBER' was not needed, but actually some new / seldom seen pilots turned up on both sides: :) Action for everybody, lots of movement on the ground and heavy aerial fighting. Great enter...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Greetings, Gentlemen! ^:) We had a long talk on Thursday concerning the future of our traditional Sunday Campaign (10 month now!). Here's what we came up with: As we all know, Moskow has its problems. However, before the last bug discussion popped up, you voted to keep on fighting. So - especially w...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
That's some really bad news. Actually I was a bit surprised about blue's quick advance in the past few missions. But since all your efforts were apparently nullified by a combination of bugs, the reason becomes obvious. :( As told above, I witnessed the bridge bug on a few occasions myself. Luckily ...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Greetings, most beloved enemies! As it stands by now, you have voted 6:3 to die standing rather than on your knees. I salute that decision. ^:) Yet, we all know the recent events in our campaign were source for some troubles between the warring factions. I assume that when voting 'let us fight till ...

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
It is not for me to say but the obvious fun of blowing up players planes on the ground with 30mm cannon (1942!?) is going to have repercussions eventually and I doubt you need to to win. Sad to hear that. Understandable anyway. It's 2x30mm + 2x20mm though, concentrated on less than 1 sqm......

Re: The ongoing JG42 war
Gentlemen! Last fights were rough. Not because many targets were destroyed, but because fighting reached the red bases once more. We attacked some airfields and struck them hard, especially Kubinka Airfield in the 2nd Mission. While fighter bombers took out the AAA and than provided high cover, Zers...

Re: Bessarabia - Development
Oh yes...I forgot the real reason for answering in this thread.... I do not have any objections about switching sides. Limiting the number of Sundays we spend in this campaign is a good idea in this case. Otherwise it would probably be 'Bessarabia forever'! Well, I would even like to switch s...
