I personally take pride in not weaing socks. In fact, socks were unheard of in Ireland until 1986. They were introduced by a Fren...

Thank you so much everyone, you've really made my day! For those of you that must know, I'm 23 years young, but I don't feel a day over 22  And as regards being too young to drink, you're NEVER too young to drink - just ask my dear old mother... I installed the game and patched it up late last night but only had a few minutes to play... I'm leaving work now and hopefully I'll get a chance to play later tonight (after my girlfriend leaves  ) but in the meantime: The game seems to be running in a low resolution and I can't find any o...

Bah... Don't use your crosshair as an aiming point - use the enemy's head! Moog's 4-step plan to successful CoD no-crosshairs combat: Draw a bead, lead, fill with lead, dead. I remember when Dutch discovered a server-side option in the AWE configuration that turned crosshairs off for every...

Guys, it's my birthday tomorrow and I left some not-so-subtle hints with my family that should anyone find it difficult to decide upon a present for me, "there's a game called Silent Hunter III"... ;)

...so I should be submerging with you guys soon!

Really looking forward to it now 8)

I think Vietnam is a standalone but not sure. Moog could you please advise. BF1942 is a standalone game. The Road to Rome and Secret Weapons of WWII are two add-on packs for it that add new maps, vehicles and weapons. They're worth getting. BF1942 and each of these two add-ons give you a unique CD-...

BF mods

I've spent my lunch break surfing the net and catching up with the BF community. Check out http://www.battlegroup42.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; - it's a realism/teamplay complete mod for BF1942. There are a LOT of new features, custom vehicles, many many custom maps...

Aye

I have BF1942, The Road to Rome, Secret Weapons, and BF: Vietnam. I played them on a par with CoD before joining the Platoon back around September/October of last year but since then they haven't had a look in. As far as I know, you can buy a value pack with BF1942 and the two add-ons to save a lot ...
