I don't think you're supposed to remove iw_16.iwd and iw_07.iwd from the \main folder because they are default game files. Instea...

Ah right, sorry for the confusion - I was more of a Leisure Suit Larry man myself ;)

Larry in the Land of Tamriel... now there's a mod I'd download!

PS... the post to which I'm referring is by Raguel, it's the second post down on that page... ...and if you ARE gonna tweak your oblivion.ini, be sure to: 1) Edit the copy in your MyDocuments\MyGames\Oblivion folder, backing up your original beforehand. The copy in the main game folder is only used ...

Dunno yet Tact, I've been reading a lot of articles on the game's hardware forums and practically every thread contains hefty pros and cons for every new card. It seems that the slightest variations between hardware configurations can cause massive performance hits, i.e. two people with ostensibly t...

Cheers Sapper... Wow, you're always very quick off the mark, I'm beginning to question your social life... ;) # Found this on the BF2 site as well, it's an announcement of the sequel, Battlefield 2142: http://www.ea.com/official/battlefield/battlefield2/us/editorial.jsp?src=battlefield2142" onc...

I was never really into RPGs. In fact, I've lost more than one roommate to the dirty little genre, the poor bastards. Hearing all these great reviews I'm tempted to drop the prejudice and scour the cushions for loose change. :-k I avoided RPGs with full force for fear I might 'turn into one of them...

So far I've spent more time just enjoying the scenery and physics than actually doing the quests. Throwing an apple farther than you can throw a ribcage? Playing with those skulls-on-ropes in the first cavern? Awesome stuff. And good news for you old-riggers... My machine is a P4 2.6GHz, 1Gb DDR-RAM...

That's priceless! Good find Sapper... I'm always surprised that the community talent puts so much time and effort into those things. 'Mine' is one of the best ever. The song is a rip-off of 'The JCB Song' by the band Nizlopi. My band was playing on a TV show in Ireland recently with them (in a churc...

Luftwaffe veteran's thoughts on the sim's 109 and 190

I found a copy on the SimHQ forums but here is a link to the original Ubi post: http://forums.ubi.com/groupee/forums/a/tpc/f/23110283/m/9951084814/p/1" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; This should probably be taken on board with a grain of salt but regardless it makes for a co...
