Re: New computer, IL-2 doesn't work
Hey Murph, I'm still looking for my joystick. Doubt I'll upgrade to any new games. PM's Sneaky R and he gave me some suggestions. I changed the compatibility mode for the IL2 .exe and the game starts and runs now. I fired up a QM and played gunner in a TB3 for a bit. Thanks for the help. Good to see...

New computer, IL-2 doesn't work
HI GANG! Haven't been around as the old junk I had wouldn't play anything worth a damn. Upgraded to a decent rig w/4G Vishera/ 32G RAM and a decent vid card. Running WIN7pro 64bit. It seems to be cooking rather nicely. http://i658.photobucket.com/albums/uu303/Wullie_01/Computerscore.jpg Brought all ...

I'm back home now Stuart, I've nothing against fries, its just death by fries that wears me down. They wanted you all sleek and fat and sassy for the end of the world. Should have told them to take their "chips" and shove 'em. They'd still be wondering what you had been smoking.

Oh well.
It needed a good flushing anyway.
It's 1800hrs and the world hasn't ended here. Clouded up and rained about 20 drops an hour or so ago.
I guess it's a good thing I didn't punch the boss yesterday before I left.

Met up with an old friend Saturday
Haven't seen or heard from him in years. He called and said come on down to the EAA meeting at Spinks Airport, have a burger and visit. Bub and I loaded up in the old Ford and set sail. It was the first cross country for the old Ford of more than 10 miles and it did great on the 80 mile round trip. ...

IF you can... :p It's real, it was produced in limited quantities for the USAF. It is currently the only one registered and flying in the world. http://i658.photobucket.com/albums/uu303/Wullie_01/EAA/sEAA016.jpg It was configured to do duty as an air ambulance if need be. http://i658.photobucket.com...

It's got a Russian engine in it now if I recall correctly.
Sacrilegious, but at least it's flying.
